Jacob (1785–1863) and Wilhelm Grimm (1786–1859) were German scholars and folklorists best known for collecting and publishing Grimm’s Fairy Tales, including classics like Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, and Snow White. Their work preserved European folklore and influenced literature and storytelling worldwide. They also contributed to linguistics and German philology. Their fairy tales are in the public domain.
